The Hove Festival of Cricket begins with a top-of-the-table battle in the Liverpool Victoria Championship with Sussex taking on nearest rivals, Lancashire at Hove from Wednesday 2 to Saturday 5 August, 2006.  Play starts at 11am each day.

Other entertainment - on Wednesday we will have St Lucien’s Steel band providing musical entertainment and they will also be handing out free rum punch.  On Thursday the Sussex Visually Impaired Cricket team will be providing a demonstration of their skills during the lunch interval.
