Surrey name unchanged line up for Kent match
Surrey have named an unchanged line up to the eleven that comprehensively beat Middlesex last night at Lord’s.
Captain, Mark Butcher, who missed last night’s match, will be rested again in the hope that he’ll recover from a sore lower back that has been troubling him recently. It is hoped that the he will be available for Friday’s match with Sussex at Hove.
Expect a run fest from Surrey tonight after such a dominating display with the bat yesterday. With one of the most talented batting line ups in the country, Surrey racked up their second highest ever total of 218-7 against Middlesex last night and will be looking for more of the same this evening.
The Brown Caps have never been beaten by the Spitfires in this competition to date.
The Surrey squad is; James Benning, Ali Brown, Mark Ramprakash, Azhar Mahmood, Rikki Clarke (captain), Stewart Walters, Jonathan Batty (wicket-keeper), Tim Murtagh, Ian Salisbury, Nayan Doshi and Jade Dernbach.
The match begins this evening at 5.30pm with gates opening at 3.30pm. Tickets will be available from the ticket office for £15 for adults and £7.50 for Under 16’s.
